I also relate to your attachment to animals. How did you choose the name for your dog? Because I have a gorgeous blue eyed cat named DILI who I rescued from the main road in Dildo in 2005 and brought to Vancouver!! Lol!

Thankyou for posting your knowledge of your health experience re heart attack. We the people must always be made aware of heart attack and stroke symptom warning to immediately seek medical assistance. Time is so important and there need to be no delay. Panic attacks are dreadful as well, and must not be confused with a heart attack but checked and measured. Symptoms of these three disorders are well documented but we too often fail to educate ourselves to be prepared to help ourselves or others should they occur. Your experience in the article shared in the Nfld Herald has renewed my attention to update my knowledge in this regard, to be prepared should any such thing ever happen in my life.Thankyou for sharing and reminding me and others.

So glad you shared your story! So many people need to hear it. I have had similar experiences tightness of the chest, left arm numb, pain in my jaw all that lasts for a few minutes and then disappears as quickly as it begins. Having experienced it from time to time, I finally went to my doctor who ordered a stress test. My heart is healthy and strong! Speaking later with a good friend, she provided me with some insight on anxiety. Apparently all symptoms I experienced were noted to be an anxiety attack! Regular exercise, proper nutrition and yet this occurred. I recall that these symptoms began around the same time I was diagnosed with CML chronic myloid lueakemia. Since the stress test a couple of months ago, I have not experienced it again.
