Audience of Chairs wins big at the FIN Atlantic International Film Festival

Locally shot film Audience of Chairs has won big at the 2018 FIN Atlantic International Film Festival.

The drama, shot in Tors Cove, has won The Gordon Parsons Award for Best Atlantic Feature, Best Atlantic Director for NL’s Deanne Foley, The Michael Weir Award for Best Atlantic Screenwriting for Rosemary House and Best Atlantic Original Score or Song for Duane Andrews.

Audience of Chairs, adapted from the award-winning novel by Joan Clark, is the story of an extraordinary woman who risks everything for a second chance to be a mother again to the daughters she thought she’d lost forever.

Stay tuned for our complete interview with director Deanne Foley in a future issue of The Newfoundland Herald.
