The George Street Association is pleased to announce the headliner for the 2018 Canada’s BIG Birthday Bash, Sunday July 1st, 2018: July Talk!
On the afternoon of Sunday, July 1st, the George Street Association will host a free, family event featuring children’s entertainers, face painting, and much more including Rock The Block; a free all ages battle of the bands competition. Bands will compete for the opportunity to perform at the 2018 George Street Festival. Interested bands should apply no later than Sunday, June 17th by emailing [email protected]. Applicants should also include a sample of their music.
“The George Street Association is proud to provide an exciting, entertaining, and safe experience for residents and tourists alike, and is committed to leveling up the biggest little street in North America each and every year,” said Jonathan Galgay, Executive Director of the George Street Association. “We strive to provide high quality entertainment which appeals to a wide audience. This year’s Canada’s BIG Birthday Bash promises to provide a great launch to a big summer on George Street.”
