Newfoundland’s Kaetlyn Osmond is your World Figure Skating Ladies Singles Champion after finishing with a combined 223.23 points at the World Figure Skating Championships in Milan Italy. Her fantastic 150.50 point free skate vaulted Osmond from fourth place to gold.
Osmond’s win, which caps off a historic season which included Olympic gold and bronze medals in Pyeongchang, makes the first time a Canadian has held the title since Karen Magnussen managed the feat in Czechoslovakia 45 years ago.
