It’s the most wonderful time of the year, for Christmas fans and those who want to let their emo flag fly for a night!

The fine folks at No Sleep Promotions are ringing in the holidays on December, FRIDAY THE 13TH!!!, with their seventh annual Kids Fest.

This annual series of shows throughout the holiday season brings punk rock fans across the island together to raise money to buy and donate gifts for the Happy Tree. Moshing, rocking and head banging can make a kids Christmas! What’s more merry than that?!

This year Kids Fest kicks off with Emo Nite Live!, a tribute to a by-gone era of music that dominated the mid to late 2000s.

DJ Blayze kicks the night off at The Rockhouse, jamming all your emo favourites, giving way to Sweet Revenge. The band will put off a savage set of massive hits from genre staples including Taking Back Sunday, My Chemical Romance, Fallout Boy, Paramore, Panic! At the Disco and more!

The event includes prizes and even screening of Christmas movies through the evening! Go way b’y!!
