EVENTS | Iceberg Alley Moves to Mile One

You can’t keep Newfoundlanders and Labradorians down.

Days removed from the impact of Hurricane Larry – one which saw the structure for the Iceberg Alley Performance Tent in Quidi Vidi decimated, the show will indeed go on!

“Thanks to the efforts of the City of St. John’s and St. John’s Sports and Entertainment in collaboration with the Iceberg Alley Performance Tent we are extremely happy to announce performances will be moving to Mile One Centre starting Monday, September 13th,” organizers for the festival shared.

The Schedule of performances is as follows:
Monday, Sept 13- Big Wreck, Wintersleep, & Bif Naked – Doors open 6 pm
Tuesday, Sept 14- Our Lady Peace, The Blue Stones, & Timber – Doors open 6 pm
Wednesday, Sept 15- John Hiatt/Jerry Douglas Band, & Crystal Shawanda– Doors open 6 pm
Thursday, Sept 16- Barenaked Ladies, Skydiggers, & Quote the Raven– Doors open 6 pm
Friday, Sept 17- July Talk/Death From Above 1979 & Kelly McMichael– Doors open 5 pm
Saturday, Sept 18- Irish Descendants, The Masterless Men, & The Navigators – Doors open 5 pm
We are pleased to announce that Alan Doyle, Matt Mays, & The Fine Lads has been rescheduled to Sunday, Sept 19th- Doors open 5 pm

Johnny Reid, Billy & The Bruisers, & Paige Penney has been rescheduled to Monday, Sept 20th- Doors open 6 pm

Tickets for original performances will be honoured for these rescheduled dates.

All seats are general admission. Capacity remains the same as original Iceberg Alley Performance Tent configurations. VIP Tickets/JAG Sky Bar holders will be contacted directly regarding ticket status.

The Iceberg Alley Performance Tent kicked off on Wednesday September 8th with Melissa Etheridge and Billy Talent on September 9th. A sold out showcase with April Wine, Honeymoon Suite and Northern Pikes was cancelled in advance of Hurricane Larry.
